1. Scope of Agreement

At Mountain West Supply Chain Company, we facilitate the movement of goods across complex networks. This agreement governs the contractual relationship between the shipper and our brokerage or carrier divisions. Ever wondered why specific freight terms matter so much? They define exactly when risk transfers from one party to another.

All shipping instructions provided to our Monument, CO office are governed by these stipulations unless a separate, formal contract has been executed in writing.

2. Bill of Lading Liabilities

The Bill of Lading (BOL) isn't just a piece of paper; it's a legal contract of carriage. We're strictly bound by the conditions stated therein. Under no circumstances shall Mountain West Supply Chain Company be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from delays or equipment failure beyond our immediate control.

Liability for cargo loss or damage is strictly limited to the valuation established by the specific tariff or the Carmack Amendment standard for interstate transit, unless a higher value is declared and paid for in advance.

4. Payment Provisions

Standard payment terms are net 15 days from the invoice date. We don't appreciate late fees, and we know you don't either. Invoices unpaid after 30 days are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge. We reserve the right to withhold delivery or exercise a carrier lien on cargo for outstanding balances.

5. Digital Usage and Website

The supply chain technology portal provided by Mountain West Supply Chain Company is intended for authorized use only. Unauthorized scraping of our logistics data is prohibited. We've built these tools for efficiency, not for exploitation.
